Duston Remembers

Our wonderful Poppy cascade will be on display again this year. Situated on the bank at St Luke's Centre, it will be on display from 26th October to the 12th November and floodlit at night.

Church services will take place at Duston United reformed Church at 10.30 am on Sunday 10th November.

Wreath laying will take place on Monday 11th November, 11 am at the War Memorial on Main Rd, Duston. There will be no church service this year at St Luke's Church due to illness.

We will also have poppies on the lamp posts along the Main Road.

Help Duston remember by dedicating a poppy to add to our display; If you wish you can remember a loved one lost in the war e.g. 'Cyril Bateman 1920 - 1944' or just make a poppy.

It's easy to get involved; follow the instructions to create a poppy on a stick and drop it off to us along with the dedication you would like on the label by FRIDAY 25TH OCTOBER please.

We will print and laminate the names and attach them to your poppy.

Poppies should be dropped off at the collection point in the reception of Duston Community Centre, Pendle Road. Duston, NN5 6DT
