Speed Data Update from Duston Parish Council
Our team has been busy gathering data and relocating our speed activated signs throughout August and September.
Here's where the signs were located during that period:
*Eastfield Road
*Main Road
*Southfield Road
*Weggs Farm Road
After closely analysing the data, we found:
6% of vehicles on Eastfield Road (towards Main Road) were driving 30+ mph.
8.9% of vehicles on Main Road (towards Eldean Primary School) were driving 30+ mph.
8% of vehicles on Southfield Road (towards Berrywood Road) were driving 30+ mph.
2.7% of vehicles on Weggs Farm Road (towards Old Sandy Lane) were driving 30+ mph.
What's new for October?
The sign from Eastfield Road has been moved to Millway, with a 20 mph speed limit.
The sign from Southfield Road has been moved to Wrenbury Road.
The signs on Main Road and Weggs Farm Road will remain in place.
